6 Intentions for 2026

6 Intentions for 2026

It’s early January, and 2026 has already started moving.

This is usually the moment when goals get loud.
Plans. Lists. Targets.

The last years have been intense.
Full of change and letting go.

So instead of asking what I want to achieve next,
I asked myself how I want to live and show up.

As I step into 2026, these are the six intentions I’m carrying with me.

1. Optimism

I’ve always been an optimist.

I wake up with energy and with a natural belief that things will work out.

But when my dad passed away two years ago, something shifted.

There was reflection.

There was grief.

And often, sadness.

That less optimistic lens changed how I saw the world.

Sometimes, when I look at my daughter, I see her strength.

Her will to make things happen.

And in those moments, I see my younger self.

The one who thought everything was possible.

The one who moved with confidence and lightness.

This year, my intention is to reconnect with that energy.

Not by ignoring reality.

But by choosing optimism again.

To look at things with more light.

More trust.

More forward movement.

2. Good energy

Over the years, I’ve realized something simple and powerful.

Energy matters more than productivity.

People want to work with people who have good energy.

People want to be around those who lift the room.

Energy is not optional.

It’s foundational.

This year, I want to focus less on to-do lists and more on how I feel while doing things.

For me, energy comes from three places.

Connection, movement and space.

I’m an extravert.

I gain energy from people.

But I also need solitude to reflect and recharge.

And then there is movement.

I’m a little lazy by nature.

For years, exercise felt optional.
Something I’d do when I had time.
Or motivation.

But I’ve realized how wrong that was.

We are humans.
Creatures of movement.

We are not made for sitting all day.
Not made for office chairs, screens, and endless meetings.

We are made to move.
To sweat.
To feel our bodies working.

What finally changed things for me was lowering the bar.

Twenty minutes a day.

And the impact has been huge.

More energy.
Better mood.
More patience.

It turns out exercise isn’t about discipline.
It’s about energy.

In 2026, energy comes first.

3. A good vibes diet

This intention is closely connected to the previous one.

I’ve become very aware of how energy moves between people.

Some interactions leave you full.

Others drain you.

There are people you can’t avoid.

But there are many situations where we do have a choice.

This year, I want to be closer to people who infuse good energy.

People who inspire growth.

Who bring curiosity instead of cynicism.

Not because everything has to be positive.

But because life is intense enough already.

In 2026, I’m going on a good vibes diet.

4. Local connections and community

Over the years, I’ve built a global network of incredible people.

Leaders.

Thinkers.

Entrepreneurs.

Builders.

Philosophers.

I admire them and they inspire .

But most of them live far away.

We meet online.

And a few times a year in person.

Here in Esslingen, where I live now, I have good friends.

Mostly mums and people connected through my husband’s work.

And yet, I feel a pull.

A desire to expand my local circle.

To meet more like-minded people nearby.

Starting Share PLM Germany with our partner Thomas is part of that.

My intention in 2026 is to expand my local network.

5. Writing

In 2025, I found my way back to writing.

And I realized how much I missed it.

Writing in my newsletter.

Writing a book.

Reflecting in my diary.

It’s a bit like a meditation for me.

A way to clarify my thinking.

Last year, I wrote AI Ready with my brother Kike.

And it was a lot of joy.

I love writing alone.

And I love writing with others.

It’s a way to explore and understand different perspectives.

In 2026, I want to write more.

6. Learning

The last two years, my curiosity has been fully captured by AI.

How it works.

How it changes work.

How it changes people.

This year, I want to keep learning deeply.

I’ve also started a PhD with Professor Martin Eigner.

My research focuses on AI adoption in large enterprises.

It combines two things I care deeply about.

Technology.

And human psychology.

In 2026, I want to keep learning.

2026, I am ready for you.

What about you?
