My Journey
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been drawn to figuring out how things work. My brother and I would take apart my dad’s computers, just to see if we could put them back together. Tech and creativity were always my playground. When I wasn’t elbows-deep in cables, I’d be sketching or painting, dreaming about becoming an architect. Spoiler: my dad, a civil engineer with strong opinions on architects, wasn’t so on board with that plan…
So, instead, I studied aeronautics, which taught me a lot, but it wasn’t until I dove into the world of creating things with others that I really felt at home. When I moved to Germany at 23, I started consulting with big names like Audi, Bombardier, and Airbus. I loved it, but those years taught me something huge: so many tech projects fail because they’re all about the tech and miss the people behind it.
Over the years, my journey took me through corporate roles, even relocating to Finland to lead a product information management program. By then, one thing was painfully clear to me: so many tech initiatives flop because they’re all tech and no heart. Teams focused on the code, the systems, the deadlines—but where was the spark? The human connection? I’ve seen projects succeed only when the people involved are inspired, aligned, and energized from day one.
Then, I discovered design thinking, and it was like a lightbulb went off. Finally, here was a way to bring people to the center of innovation, to make things that actually feel like they’re made for us. And now, with the speed of AI, it’s possible to create fast, get quick wins, and keep that human touch alive—all at once.
So here we are. If you’re ready to break the mold, if you believe that tech should have heart, that the best projects don’t just work—they connect with people——then join me on this journey. This blog is a space where we’ll dive into the world of tech, design thinking, and AI to create things that actually matter. I’ll be sharing insights, stories, and strategies for building things that inspire and last.
